Irresistible aura

I sat, staring at the blue-eyed man in front of me as he blabbered on about um.... yeah schedules. Honestly, I cared less about what he was saying and not that I care less, ugh, what am I saying? All I'm trying to say is that I'm bored, tired and famished and all of these aren't my favourites. Okay, back to reality.

He snapped his fingers in my face and I blinked.

"Kiara, are you even with me?" He asked, a small frown etched on his forehead.

"Yes." I answered.

He glared at me. "Then, what was my last statement?"

"Kiara, are you even with me?" I smiled, innocently.

His eyes widen in disbelief. "Are you for real right now?"

My lips twitched slightly and I gave him an amused look. "Adrian," I started, "you've been talking about planning schedules, handling them and so on and so on." I huffed. "Aren't you tired, because I am. We should take a break."
