Chapter Forty Nine

Theodeus POV

I couldn’t let her go alone to her office, Ares wouldn’t quit whining once he seen how upset she was so I relented and we went after her. The initial shock I had seeing a burn caused by her bare hands paled in comparison to the pure static electricity radiating around her as she stormed off, it was as if she was leaving a trail in her wake. I couldn’t fathom the way she was feeling right now since nobody has filled her in on a damn thing, she says she’s not a shifter but humans do not get hot enough to burn anything let alone hot enough to cause permanent damage to a shifters skin.
