Fourteen days later

“Wake up.” A faint voice whispered in my ear. My whole body felt like it was dumped in a huge deep frying pot. I could feel burning sensations all over my body. My skin prickled as if little ants were crawling up my skin. I wanted to scream but I couldn’t. The pain I felt was out of this world, I felt like my body was on fire and I desperately needed someone to pour a bucket of cold water on me. Then I heard it, a deep growl resonated through the room almost breaking the windows with its force.
