Warning bells rang in Adelynn's mind and all she could think of was how she was betraying Dominic. She pulled away and took a step backwards, her makeup totally ruined. Jensen parted his lips. "Don't" she croaked and took another step backwards.

Thinking of the events that had happened two nights before, did nothing to soothe Adelynn's nerves as she sit in her office staring at the screen of her laptop, blankly. The persistent ringing of Dominic's Android phone awoke him from his slumber. Squinting at the rays of the morning sunlight pouring through the half open window blinds of his study, he sat up.
