Danie's heart skipped a beat when finally, Lucas arrived. He didn't seem to have gone to his office. He was simply wearing jeans and a jacket over a white t-shirt with his hair all disheveled. He looked irritated and furious like something did not go according to his wishes.
But what caught Dana's attention was the bandage around his right palm. Did he get the injury when he saved her?
Daniel felt awful for causing him to get hurt.
"Is everything okay, Levi?" Lucas asked his brother while taking off his jacket. He didn't even throw Danie a glance as if she wasn't there.
"Uh-huh. Nothing to worry about," Levi answered. "How did it go?"
