Rayell's POV:

Morgan quickly wrote down the words that Callox and I dictated.

Once finished, he secured the letter to the carrier pigeon's leg and opened the window to release it. The pigeon flew off into the distance, offering a sense of relief.

However, the relief was short-lived as cold winds blew in through the window, causing me to shiver uncontrollably. The biting cold of the snow-covered mountain only added to the pain of my injuries, making it unbearable.

"Rayell, you're shivering! Stop pretending to be strong and drink the potion for the cold," Callox insisted as he rummaged through his backpack for the bottle of magic medicine given to us by Amelia.

Handing me the potion, Callox caught Morgan's excited expression.

"Isn't that Amelia's?" Morgan exclaimed, pointing at the bottle. "I would recognize it anywhere. This must mean Amelia really is alive!"

Morgan's enthusiasm was evident as he spoke, offering a glimmer of hope in the midst of our challenges.
