Chapter 34 - The wedding part 1

Kat and I made our way to the car rental office, dragging our luggage behind us. Once we arrived, the cab driver left our bags at the entrance, so we retrieved them and loaded them into the rental car we had booked for the entire wedding weekend.

Driving on the opposite side of the road was definitely a challenge for me. It had taken me several months to get used to it and accept that my previous driving experience in Canada wasn’t applicable here. I groaned inwardly, thinking about how much easier it would be to rely on public transit or taxi cabs. But we couldn’t do that where we were going. Despite my dislike for driving, I was confident in my skills and knew that it was an essential part of getting around, no matter where you were in the world.
