Chapter 15 The Teasing Game

I was answered with a dark chuckle.

Xander leaned closer to me and whispered, “I won’t let them near my mate, you smell way too delicious for your own good.”

My heart skipped a beat and I started blushing more intensely.

“How are you feeling today?” he asked, changing the topic.

“Little sore, but all good,” I answered honestly.

“I would be angry if you were not,” he said smugly.

“What?” I asked.

“Yeah, if you weren’t sore that means I didn’t satisfy you. That would have made me very angry and sad at the same moment.” He answered.

At first, I was a little shocked but what harm it caused to indulge in a light teasing battle.

“I am not that sore, maybe you weren’t that good. Alpha” I teased him, as we neared my office.

“You are playing with fire, you might get burned.” He warned.

“Maybe, but that would make me brave.” I smiled at him as my office building came into view.
