Chapter 33 – The jet crashed.

“Please call and tell them to cancel the trip. Tell them you have to take care of me. Please Mom and Dad, I need you here with me.”

Reginald and Cynthia were confused about their daughter’s behavior. They knew her to always be non-serious about the company, saying that Dylan would take care of it but for a few weeks, she has been serious.

Now, she was sick, and as much as they wanted to be there for her, she was an adult so a doctor could be called to take care of her, and with her maid around, they could go on their business trip and come back.

Whereas the desperation in her voice made Reginald and Cynthia helpless but indeed, their daughter’s life mattered more to them than any money in the world and Maeve had paled so much suddenly, it scared them.

Reginald tried calling his counterparts to tell them about the change of plans but the call was not going through, which could mean they had already reached the airport and were waiting in the private jet.

Not only were Reginald and
