Xander’s POV

I sat at the bar, it was quite silent today.

The work had been piling up and I was still not able to find Alister or whatever he calls himself.

He had been silent for a while now but I wonder how long it will last.

Lily is enjoying her workload and I am enjoying my marriage.

It was bliss, other than the misunderstanding that took place everything was fine. I liked that she was affected by the thought of me with someone else. She hated it, and I loved her for that.

“What may I owe the pleasure for my son-in-law to meet me?”, I heard my father-in-law say and put the drink back after taking a sip.
