Asher felt his heart clenched in pain. Just a few minutes ago, those stiff lips were forming the most wide and beautiful smile he had ever seen, now all that’s left were a thin fine line of her lips, unmoving although her eyes were drenched from her own tears. He pulled Elaine into his arms and ribbed her back, a few moments after that, Elaine buried herself as she sniffled, her small body trembled greatly, perhaps from the sobbing, or perhaps from the unwaning fear.
The young teenage boy heaved a sigh. His mind is a blend between tired and also concerned about her. It feels muddled yet he don’t want to do anything about it, as if his energy is already depleted.
He again heaved a long sigh, before sauntering to the bed. Then, with all his might, he fell on the bed and enjoyed the sinking sensation he felt as he sank on the thick and cold duvet. Having a duvet with dual function really helps with the season~
