After we ate lunch, I told Mama about Alex's plan, and she told me to be careful in case I bumped into my ex-family members.I asked Billy and Jack to drive me to the mall first. CASSANDRA The following day, I was startled to see Alex sitting on the edge of my bed when I opened my eyes. I quickly sat up and grabbed my phone to check the time, thinking I was already late for school, but it was only seven in the morning, and my first was at ten in the morning today. I slumped back on my bed, ignoring him. I'm still sleepy because of his sudden proposal. I was surprised, but also it brought joy to my heart. CASSANDRA "Cassandra, what did I tell you? Clean my room." Christina, my older sister, screamed. I still have class in an hour, but Christina wants me to leave when I clean her room. I want to complain, but no one will listen to me. It's better to do it, or I'll be sporting bruises later. I don't have a voice in this house. The only thing I need to do is to obey every command my family asks me. I went to Christina's room while she was in the bathroom and cleaned it.
