"It's not her fault," I muttered.

"I'm so sorry, Angel. I forgot to inform her about you. I wondered why you hadn't come until now, that's why I called your phone, but Jack answered it and told me that you left your phone in the car and you had already arrived at the building an hour ago, that's why I rushed down as soon as I hung up the phone."

"It's okay," I smiled. He pulled me into his embrace and kissed my forehead.

"I bought a snack." I raised the paper bag I held in front of us, and he quickly took it from my hand and peck lips.

"Thank you. I'm starving." He led me to his office when the elevator opened.

"Why are you starving? You don't eat lunch?" I asked as I fixed the food on top of the center table.

"I'm busy because I'm away for a week. I have many documents that need to be signed, and I don't have an appetite." He replied,
