CHAPTER 156: For You

RUE

After doing my morning routine, I stepped out of my room. I had promised Henry a souvenir, and I was planning to get started on making it.

However, as I made my way to the dining room, I saw Tysha, sitting at the table who gave a slight smile when she saw me coming. She looked surprisingly... normal.

“Morning,” she said, and it threw me off.

Since when did she start the day with anything but a cold shoulder?

“Good morning,” I managed to reply despite my confusion.

Breakfast was laid out in front of her, but nothing was touched. It looked good, and I was hungry, but this was weird.

“Have you eaten breakfast?” I asked, trying to figure out what was going on.

“No. I was waiting for you,” she answered, and I was taken aback.

Again. Waiting for me? Since when?

I sat down, still trying to wrap my head around this sudden change.

Was she being nice now? What happened overnight? But hey, I wasn’t going to complain. If she was offering an olive branch, I’d take it. Maybe we coul
