Chapter Forty Six

Ethan sat in the cafeteria waiting for Saira and wondering where she could be. She'd told him to meet her here by twelve and he'd gotten here two minutes before twelve but she was nowhere to be found.

Hoping she was okay and not in trouble, he fished out his phone and clicked on her number that he'd put on speed dial then put the phone to his ear as it began to ring. He'd had to politely tell so many girls off and he wasn't sure he had anymore polite bone in his body at this point.

"Hey hon." Saira's cheerful voice greeted in his ear.

Ethan let out a sigh of relief. "Sweetheart... where are you? It's 12:05." He said.

"I know. I'm very sorry." She apologized. "Professor Williams called me to her office to see her. I left her not quite long but I'm on my way to the cafeteria now."

"Alright." He said. "Be careful."

"I will. I love you."

"I love you twice as much." He grinned. "Kisses." He hung up. He looked at Darina as she slipped into the chair in front of him and he sighed.
