Chapter Thirty One

The next day

Saira was in her room in the hostel reading when a knock sounded on her door. She'd been wondering where Anne was a while ago but decided not to bother herself since they weren't friends anymore. She got up from her bed and went to open the door and was surprised to see Eileen standing in front of her door.

"Mrs Delnoi? Um.... Please come in." She stepped aside for her to enter.

"Thank you." Eileen walked into the room and Saira closed the door.

"I'm really sorry about the furniture..." She made a face.

"Don't worry about it. I'll sit here." She pulled out the chair in front of her reading table and sat down.

"Can I get you anything ma'am?" She asked politely.

"I'm fine." Eileen smiled.

Saira sat on the edge of her bed. "How's... Ethan ma'am?"

"He's fine. He woke up really cranky this morning because he didn't sleep well." Eileen told her. "He had a nightmare."
