CHAPTER SIXTY ONE

I woke up the next morning with a heavy head. I was reluctant to get off the bed for once and just laid there for a while. I wasn’t sure for how long, but I could guess properly close to an hour.

After a few more minutes, I desperately grab on to my cell phone, checking the time to see that it was nearly ten in the morning. Maybe I should have taken Giovanni’s opinion into consideration when calling in a doctor, because I was feeling freaking horrible at this point.

I winced in pain as I tried to move, getting out of bed as I tried not to pay attention to the ache in my body, ignoring the pain somehow, and walking into the washroom.

A groan leaves my lips as I try to carry on my usual routine. I reached into the shower and turned it on before closing my eyes and leaning back against the tiled wall. I didn’t open them again until the room was full of hot steam.
