Chapter one hundred and eighty six

AMELIA’s POV….

I screamed, feeling like my heart had come right out of my mouth as I did so, but luckily, I managed to grab on to a rock as in tears, my heart pounding, I grabbed on tighter.

With tears streaming down my cheeks, I looked down. If I fell, there was no way my human body would survive. I could even die or get eaten by rogues. Who knew?

“How are you so damn lucky, every freaking time?” It asked me as it hovered above me, bending as it stared at me, shaking its head as I struggled to remain there.

“Help me! Anyone there? Help me!” I screamed as I struggled to keep hanging on to the rock.

“Help? You ran all the way out to this cliff, darling. You ran away from both of your lovers, so, tell me, how on earth is anyone supposed to find you here?” It asked me, and remembering how far I’d come, tears streamed down my cheeks as I saw the rocks start to give way.
