Chapter one hundred and fifty eight

ALARIC’s POV….

“That’s where you’re wrong.” She told me as she looked down and I clenched my fists.

“I might still worry about him because I have feelings remaining for him. I mean, it’s not easy to fall out of your first love. Even though he hurt me, I can’t forget the things he did for me, but that’s not the case here. I have a baby to think of now and I can’t give her up.” She told me, and it wasnt like I could do anything but nod.

Honestly, it did hurt me a lot that she still cared for the same man that hurt her. The same man that caused her to make a lot of sacrifices, but could I do? The mate bond could be such a jerk.
