Chapter one hundred and sixty three

AMELIA’s POV…

My stomach felt tightened, I could still recall the pain my wolf was in when they were fighting, and I could remember passing out.

“My baby!” I gasped as I jumped out of bed and doing so, I placed my hand to my stomach as I closed my eyes. My baby.

Luckily, Alaric was in the room when I regained consciousness and he rushed to me as he held on to my hand and staring at him, I could see how bruised he was. Oh, goodness! Why’d he have to get in a fight with Alex because of me. It wasn’t like him.

“Are you okay?” He asked me and I nodded as I sighed.

He looked down to my hand and immediately knew what I was going to ask about next.

“Alaric, my ba….” Before the words could leave my mouth, the door came open and of course, Alex walked in.
