Finding out the truth

Miranda's POV

I stood still, gasping at what I heard but it seemed it wasn't stopping because it took only a minute before another voice spoke.

“What would happen when she finds out you don't really love her but instead, you're using her..? Would that not be a problem..?” It was a female voice.

“Miranda?” Maxwell chuckled that I had goosebumps on my back. “You know, at some point I thought of it too but then, I can do all things with just a word and she'd go all soft…” He affirmed.

“What word would that be?” That female voice asked again in curiosity. In truth, I was also curious even though I could tell how hot and fast my blood was boiling in rage. I also want to know the word he says that makes me go soft.
