A raising storm

“Morning, beautiful,” Liam mumbled as he stood at the bathroom door, watching Carmen brush her teeth.

As she glanced at him, the corner of her mouth lifted. Then she gazed back at his reflection in the mirror while smiling with her eyes.

The moment Carmen spit out the toothpaste, she felt Liam's hands around her waist, his fingers gently resting on her stomach and his body against her.

Then he slowly turned her around and before Carmen could get the chance to react, his lips were against hers, and she felt her heart do a somersault when his tongue tangled with hers as his hand slowly slipped under her pajama shirt.

“You taste like toothpaste.” Liam teased after their lips had parted.

“Because I am brushing my teeth,” Carmen mumbled before playfully pushing Liam off of her.
