COMFORT

Edna tried to carefully lift up his head from her lap but she stopped when he frowned in his sleep causing her action and breath to stop for a second. She dropped the idea of going away, smoothing out the frown on his forehead. She pulled out her phone slowly from her pocket, in order to not disturb the of the raging storm which had just calm down after leaving remnants of it on the floor. 

Edna dialed the number waiting for it to be picked, her eyes narrowed lightly when no one picked even after two rings, her eyes idly looking around the office and then it widened leaving a gasp from her lips as they fell on the clock. It was 2 am in the morning, that's why no one was picking up her call. She did not realise that it was this late. Just when she was about to hang up, her call was picked up. 

" Hello?"  it should have been a sleepy voice that was what Edna thought but that didn't sound like that person was sleeping at all.&nbs
