"I did" as soon as those words left his mouth he felt a stinging sensation on his cheeks. Adriano hit him with the back of the gun which he was still holding. Daniel stumbled back as blood trickled down from his nose. A gasp left Edna's mouth as she shakily stood up from chair.
"Look, let me.." Daniel said wiping the blood from the back of his hand but went silent when Adriano raised his palm stopping him.
"Don't even try to explain your filthy betrayal to me, DON'T. I trusted you, Daniel but that was a huge mistake." he seethed at him, his face turning a shade of red due to anger.
"You must be wondering how I knew all of this." he said with words laced with venom.
"And you too right?" he asked turning towards Edna who was oblivious of his next move.
