RIDDLE
Edna stopped screaming when nothing happened to Daniel. She looked at him in shock, confusion, and relief. She was sure she saw him pulling the trigger. Daniel who thought his brain would be blown by now looked at the golden metal with furrowed brows and then looked up at Adriano who was innocently looking at both of them.
"Oh! Did I forget to mention before that the gun was empty?" he stated innocently shaking his head.
Edna looked up at Adriano through teary eyes, her mind unable to wrap what was going on. Daniel was relieved but not entirely because he knew Adriano wouldn't forgive a back stabber.
"Do you really think your fratello is going to take your life because of some emotional stupid mistake you did? Huh? Am I that evil?" Adriano whispered in a soft voice and it was all that it took for Daniel to forget and tackle Adriano in a hug.

Adriano slammed his car door shut and let out a heavy sigh as he looked at his phone screen showing caller ID 'Shortie'. He was in such a bad mood, he didn't want to talk to anyone but again she was his best friend and maybe she needed him.
