Chapter 36:Treason

“Anna, it's working!”

Tears rolled down my eyes as I watched how their body began to receive their color, their eyelids shaking, the machine picked it up and they were recovering and no longer in a coma. Everything was happening so fast that I was even shocked.

Yes, it took more than fifteen minutes when mine took less than five but they were in a coma. If we were going to really examine it with time, theirs was supposed to take more than an hour seeing that they were in a coma.

Father began to instruct the doctors on what to do, but they all got busy. I stood there watching Grandma J and Mother showing more signs of them recovering.

The doctors took the life support off both of them, First from Mother then after a while, from Grandma. Blood samples were taken from both of them, and three doctors left. Father and I stood there waiting for them to open their eyes and even if it would take until tomorrow, we were determined to wait.

“Mother?” I called when I saw her eyes slightly t
