23. No dream

The sound of an announcement that the plane was about to land distracted Andien who had been reading. There was no smile on her face when someone greeted her.

"Is someone meeting you?" the man in the seat next to her asked.

"There is."

"Sure? I don't mind dropping you off first," the man asked with a smile.

"Thank you."

"Do you have a toothache?"

Andien let out an exasperated sigh, then looked at the man, who was still smiling mischievously. "It could have been worse if you hadn't kept your mouth shut."

Andien's bluff silenced the man, but only for a moment, for he began to act up as he tried to grab the bag in the baggage compartment.

"Let go!" Andien ordered firmly.

"Eh, I was just helping. Is that wrong?" the man asked cheekily.

Andien did not answer, but picked up the small bag that was still in the baggage compartment and walked towards the exit. She didn't care that her actions put her in the way of passengers who had the same intention.
