8 Questions without answers

Andien walked according to the directions given by the female employee she met for the first time. Andien's pair of black eyes scanned every side of the room without making anyone suspicious.

Andien shook her head while inwardly complaining that she didn't really know Kenan that well.

Andien stood waiting for the elevator doors to open when someone stood next to her. Andien glanced over and was surprised that the person standing was Alinda, a friend who had warned her about Kenan.

"What is Alinda doing?" Andien asked herself.

Andien was still thinking about Alinda's presence in Kenan's company when the woman turned her head and looked at Andien with a furrowed brow.

"Have we met?" Alinda asked.

Andien shook her head. "I don't think so."

In silence they stepped into the elevator although Andien tried not to look at Alinda, her curiosity made her do it again until Alinda smiled coldly and stiffly.

"We've never met but your behavior makes me suspicious. Tell me what you want!"
