Chapter Fifty Three

"Babe, we have you," Arion tried again to soothe my sobs.

"It was horrible," I cried. I lifted my head to look at my mates.

"Rina?" Arrow said. "I am not trying to scare you, but you need to breathe, please, breathe with me," he began taking deep breaths and letting them out slowly.

I tried to follow but my mind couldn't focus. I felt an unfamiliar feeling that began in the pit of my stomach before spreading throughout my body.

"Rina, you have to listen to us right now," Arion tried, his voice thick with worry. I lifted my head to look at him. "Rina, please, you have to calm down," Arion begged.

I looked at my hands, the strange glow that had been in my eyes when Sheila's mother had insulted me earlier had spread and was now engulfing my entire body.
