The Divorce

My heart skipped a beat as I heard the voice on the other end of the line. Atty. Chua, my divorce lawyer, was calling me. Instantly, my mind raced with questions. Had something gone wrong? Was there a problem with the settlement?

Trying to steady my nerves, I asked, "Our divorce was finalized months ago. Is there an issue?"
