Jealousy

Unable to believe what I was seeing. Memories of the past flooded my mind and I could feel the anger building up inside me.

I shook my head, trying to push away the negative thoughts. Marcus never changed.

He was always the same, always chasing after her. And here I was, with our son, in front of me.

“Let’s go, Marco,” I said, my voice shaking with anger as I grabbed my son’s hand and pulled him towards me.

I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible before I did something I would regret.

“Wait, where is dad, mom?” Marco asked, confused by my sudden urgency.

“He’s waiting outside,” I lied, not wanting to tell my son what I saw.

Just then, I heard Marcus calling out my name from a distance.

“Sam! Sam!” Marcus called me.
