My heart dropped as I recognized the voice. It was Sofia.

I turned my head and saw her standing from the distance with an old man by her side. My jaw clenched in anger and confusion. What were they doing here? Did they plan on ruining my image in public?

Before I could react, an old man in a tattered suit scolded her.

“Let's go, Sofia. You're not supposed to do this kind of shit,” he scolded her.

But Sofia resisted, her eyes fixed on me. “No, I won't go. I have to stop this. She doesn't deserve to be the CEO.”
