132: He's Awake

The doctor arrived shortly after and gave Lorenzo the blood he needed.

Massimo's men also arrived and they brought a bunch of hospital equipment. They helped the doctor, and I watched them from a distance.

Lorenzo was unconscious, and his breathing was shallow. His pulse was steady, and his heartbeat was normal.

"Do you think he'll wake up soon?" I asked the doctor.

"Maybe. It depends on him. He lost a lot of blood and his body is probably trying to recover from the trauma. Let him rest." He responded.

"Okay." I said with a nod. I stayed beside Lorenzo, keeping a close eye on him.

Massimo's men left shortly after, and the house was quiet again. It was just us and the silence.
