Farren's Point of View

The hotel room was bleak. Cold. Drained of all life. But it was the best option I had. I couldn't stay at Rafael's place. His betrayal of my trust still stung too deep. I wouldn't have dared set a foot on Amador ground, even if Isabelle had begged me to return. Thus the main hotel in Lupitum should have sufficed. Although it didn't.

With their grand chandeliers and busy halls, I felt more overwhelmed than ever. Everything was sterile upon my entry. The windows. Walls. Couches. All of it stank of bleach and despair.

The exact mental state I was in currently.

My stomach rumbled a few meters in and I clutched it with a hand. We had foregone lunch after all. Camilo had stormed out and Rafael had followed, leaving me with a confused and angry Amy. I dashed out of the house when I knew both of my seething mates were alright.

Luckily my escape had been a speedy one. I had no bags to speak of. Had left it all with Isabelle this morning. Refused to go back for the

I swear she over analyzes everything to the inth degree.... listening to her inner monologue is exhausting she's wishy-washy and goes back and forth and just I get she's been traumatized but dang seriously everything's so completely obliteratingly exhaustingly over analyzed

This chapter seems to be missing a lot. The next few chapters talk about how Farren went to Camilo’s room, but that isn’t reflected here. Plus this chapter is shorter than usual.
