Chapter 38: Going To The Airport.

The girls went to a cafe after they were finished at the spa, and it was at this point that Laura’s phone rang. She saw a new number and hung up without thinking about it. Two minutes later, she received a text message from the same number and she reluctantly opened the message.

[Hello miss Moore, this is Derek, Mr. Lewis’s assistant. I wanted to know if you will be picked up from the hotel.] the message said and Laura put down the cup of tea she was sipping on and called him back. The girls looked at the suddenly excited Laura with some confusion but did not probe.

“Hi, Derek!” Laura said brightly the moment he picked up the phone.

“Miss Moore,” Derek responded, a bit stiffly. He was not expecting the enthusiasm.
