Chapter 39: Let's Go To Your Place.

Laura stood up when she heard some commotion coming from the customs area. Not long after, James’s figure was seen passing by airport security. No one really even searched or paid attention to the security devices and just let him through.

When she saw him, she started walking toward him with a bright smile on her face. She was also realising just how much she had missed him, or missed seeing him. James spotted Laura as she came to him and his previously cold expression softened significantly, with a shallow smile playing on his lips.

If any of his staff were around to see the change, they would realise just how into Laura he was. Laura tried to play it cool, but she ended up failing as she unconsciously sped up just to get to him faster. By the time she was in his arms, James had a full-blown smile on his face.

His cold expression was enough to scare people into avoiding looking at him, but his smile just drew people’s eyes toward him.
