He finally noticed that I've been staring at him without blinking my eyes, and he stopped pacing.

The wind tousled his perfectly black hair, but they looked even better when messy.

"Take a good look, I'm your handsome husband," he sneered in a mocking tone, loosening his tie and settling down with me on the bench.

Ginny came out with my bags first, slowing down as she reached the car. Her eyes were fixed on us.

His eyes narrowed at my hands and he let out a sigh after acknowledging how they were bleeding.

"Tell the driver to pick up the first aid kit," he instructed Ginny, and she promptly obeyed, rushing after the driver.

Sawyer suddenly grasped my hands, causing my body to flinch. I couldn't tear my gaze away from him.

"Do you only know how to stare with your big blue eyes and shed tears?" he began with an eye roll.

"Why didn't you respond back there?" he continued to hold my hands in his palms, demanding an answer.
