LUCA’S POV

“What time are we showing up today?” Aria says from beside me, we had woken up several times in the night going at each other like animals so we slept in real late, the only reason our phones were not blowing up was because I had it off since yesterday as promised and now it was 10, I wasn’t sure I wanted to switch it on after all.

“Should we just leave the work today?” I say going to the bathroom, I was hungry for a shower.

“We don’t have that liberty, we are in war and we can always use Emb being in the hospital as a reason for going late but definitely not as one for not showing up”, she says making a good point.

“Fine, I’ll shower first, don’t put on the phones till we are done bathing and even dressed, I don’t want to have to rush”, I say stepping into the scalding water, I pick up soap and lather my body.
