I am hurrying around when his texts come in;

“Meet me in my office.” It said.

“I have less than fifteen minutes to get to the hall, can it wait?” I shoot back whilst scurrying out of my car, I contemplate carrying my coffee with me, but it sloshes everywhere, and I end up dumping the whole thing in the trash, and wipe my hands down with a wet wipe.

“It can’t wait and it won't take long.”

I groan but head to his office anyway.

It was his fault I ended up coming in late and I plan on letting him know.

“Fourteen minutes.” I announce and enter his office.

He is resting on his table, facing the door, hence facing me, he was looking the direct opposite of how I was feeling.

“You look amazing, breathtaking, as always.”

I pause, it felt good to hear him say that, even if I was in a rush, I wanted to hear him say that again.
