Selena looked around Emmanuel Scofield's living room in awe. It's main decor was flower vases and paintings. There was a large portrait of Emmanuel's family. His wife and three daughters had bright smiles on their faces. Emmanuel was holding a sleeping baby boy and was smiling too.
"Mr Scofield's house is beautiful, right Zach?" Selena said to Zach who was seated on the couch in the same room. When he did not respond, Selena grinned at him.
"Zach, do not be such a cry baby. I only beat you once and yet you are acting like I am the worst person alive."
Zach glared at her. "You promised to not speak of that to anyone."
"And you promised to be a new friend of mine." Selena said with a pout and her arms crossed. "So friend, isn't Emmanuel's house lovely?"

"Will that be all?" The waiter asked Selena and Gina as he finished writing down what Gina had just ordered. "Yes, that will be all. Thank you." Gina said smiling while Selena just nodded. The waiter bowed his head. "Very well then." He turned to leave but stopped and stared at the flowers in the vases that were on each side of the door as if he had seen something displeasing. The howling wind did nothing to calm her nervousness. Veronica was so exited to see Asriel Parker again but her excitement came with extreme nervousness. She stopped looking at her reflection in the mirror to stare at the little picture of Asriel Parker that she had taped to the corner of her mirror from a magazine.He was in a grey t-shirt and had his hands in the pockets of his black jeans. He was talking to someone on his left but Veronica had cropped the other parts of the picture and couldn't remember who the other person was. His grey eyes were always intense and he had a habit of running his hands through his hair. His handsome face only added to the fame he already had as a businessman and a major share holder in some other companies. His fraternal twin brother was just as successful and his younger sister just as him, but those other two didn't get Veronica's heart racing when they glanced at her or smiled at her.

Selena March groaned when she heard the strange annoying sound coming from her desk next to her bed. "Morning already?" She mumbled half asleep, subconsciously reaching out her hand towards her desk to stop the alarm. She pressed the alarm but the ringing persisted, annoying her.
