Chapter Sixteen
Selena plopped down on her bed after walking in. It was just a simple task of reading through business emails and cancelling some meetings but it was still so tiring. If she kept on being an office lady then she would end up going out of shape and Andrew Darral and Gina would make fun of her for the rest of her life.
Asriel, Asaiah and Ataliah obviously did more work than her but still managed to keep themselves in shape so she was going to do so herself – after some shuteye of course.
Selena almost fell off her bed when she heard some really loud knocking on her door. The clock on her table showed that it was eleven PM.
"Come in." Selena called while rubbing her sleepy eyes and yawning. The door burst open and Tracy danced in right after. Yes, she was literally dancing to a tune that was probably in her mind, seeing as she had no headsets or headphones on.

For the third consecutive night, Asriel woke up feeling cold and sweating at the same time. He was breathing heavily as if he been running in his sleep. He glanced at the digital wall clock on top of his door and realised that he had only slept for about an hour."Damn it!" He said as he slowly got out of his bed. "Will that be all?" The waiter asked Selena and Gina as he finished writing down what Gina had just ordered. "Yes, that will be all. Thank you." Gina said smiling while Selena just nodded. The waiter bowed his head. "Very well then." He turned to leave but stopped and stared at the flowers in the vases that were on each side of the door as if he had seen something displeasing. Gina and Selena watched him in confusion as he muttered to himself angrily and started rearranging the flowers. It only took him two minutes to finish his task after which he smiled like he had just won the lottery and left quickly. The flower arrangement did not even look any different from the way it was initially. Gina rolled her eyes. "What a perfectionist. The flowers do not even look different."

Asriel stretched his arms and back as he walked down the stairs of the house to the living-room. Because of Emmanuel’s therapy sessions, he had missed three days worth of appointments, paperwork and reviews. Selena was thankful that Asriel had not given much thought to how and why she had gotten to work so early in the morning. The howling wind did nothing to calm her nervousness. Veronica was so exited to see Asriel Parker again but her excitement came with extreme nervousness. She stopped looking at her reflection in the mirror to stare at the little picture of Asriel Parker that she had taped to the corner of her mirror from a magazine.He was in a grey t-shirt and had his hands in the pockets of his black jeans. He was talking to someone on his left but Veronica had cropped the other parts of the picture and couldn't remember who the other person was. His grey eyes were always intense and he had a habit of running his hands through his hair. His handsome face only added to the fame he already had as a businessman and a major share holder in some other companies. His fraternal twin brother was just as successful and his younger sister just as him, but those other two didn't get Veronica's heart racing when they glanced at her or smiled at her.
