Chapter Twenty

Asriel stretched his arms and back as he walked down the stairs of the house to the living-room. Because of Emmanuel’s therapy sessions, he had missed three days worth of appointments, paperwork and reviews. Knowing Asaiah, he probably took the fact that Ariel was not breathing on his neck as a chance to slack off. He knew he had too much work to do.

Deciding against having breakfast at home, he walked out of the house. Because it was quite early, Asriel chose not to wake up Zach from his well deserved rest. Selena on the other hand did not deserve any rest after getting him kidnapped from his own room.
