Lewis' father had spoken in a serious tone.

He wanted to get to know the big shot in Mr. Ford's circle in the hopes that he could help save the Brandon Group. However, meeting him was currently impossible.

The chamber would not help either.

Lewis ended the call, a glint of indifference in his eyes.

He paused for a moment and realized that the Millers were the only ones who still trusted him, making them easier to deceive.

He had not won Lydia over yet, though. He was frustrated that he could not even defeat someone like Henry.

Sarah felt no guilt toward Henry while in the car, and she felt Henry embarrassed her. "Why didn't Mr. Ford let you speak just now, Henry?" she asked.

"Maybe he was busy," Henry said after a hesitation.

"He's definitely busy, but it wouldn't cost him anything to spare a few minutes. I think he doesn't want to talk to you, so he doesn't want to waste time on you."

"Maybe," Henry said indifferently.
