Alton's POV

I stayed at Solana's store, but after having lunch together, I received a call from Allison asking me to visit the site because there was a problem. So, I headed there.

When I arrived, Allison explained to me that they needed to make some changes to the layout. After she explained everything, I agreed, and I was about to leave, but Allison stopped me.

"Your mom, she is staying at the hotel with me," she said.

I let out a deep breath and nodded.

"I'll pay her a visit," I said.

"You should. She seems stressed. Did something happen between you two?" she asked, concern laced in her voice.

"Nothing," I said, refusing to share the details of my personal life.
