Solana's POV

I woke up to find myself alone in bed, without Alton by my side. Stretching my limbs, I made my way to the kitchen, where I found him cooking breakfast. His face lit up with a smile as soon as he saw me.

"Good morning," he greeted warmly.

Returning his smile, I walked over to him and stole a glimpse of what he was preparing.

"You should have woken me up. I should be the one cooking breakfast," I said.

"It's fine. I used to cook for you, remember?" he replied, bringing back fond memories of the times he stayed at my place, taking care of me.

A little while later, Atlas, still in his pyjamas and rubbing his eyes, stumbled into the kitchen.

"Good morning, Love," I greeted, pulling him into a tight hug and planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Good morning, buddy," Alton greeted with a smile.

"Good morning Mommy. Good morning Daddy," he greeted back then climbed onto his chair. I helped him to ensure he won't fall.
