Him

Greg came into his vast living room and flopped tiredly on the neat white sofa.

He was jet lagged as usual, even though he travelled with his private jet every now and then.

He looked around him and smiled. Yes, he was getting everything he wanted and attaining the level he had always aspired to acquire. Money, power and women were nothing to him now. But he felt incomplete. He didn't know why, but there was a void in his life that made him feel he didn't have everything yet that life had to offer.

He got up and made to go upstairs, when a knock came on the door.

He knew it was the gatekeeper so he permitted him to come in. The gateman Amos, poked his head through the slightly opened door.

"Wehdone sir."

"Yes, Amos?"

The silly gatekeeper kept staring like he was suddenly dumb and Greg sighed in frustration.

"What the hell, Amos? Why are you staring like a moron?" He snapped.

"Weren't you going to tell me something?"

"Eh? Uh, yes sir, yes sir. Sir a lady, fine lady, is waiting for you at door."

Amos said in his usual incorrect English.

Greg sighed. When was he going to be free from all these women? Both the ones he was attracted to and the ones he couldn't even bear to look at.

"Who did she say she was?"

"I no know who is she sir."

"Tell whoever she is, that I'm not in the mood for a chat."

Greg said and walked towards the stairs when a creamy chocolate voice spoke from the hallway, coming in to the room.

"I guess that's rather too late, Greg."

Greg sighed in frustration as he recognised the voice. It was the beautiful Sophia, daughter of an oil magnate.

"Anyways, I'll pardon you for that, baby boy, because I'm sure you didn't know it was I."

Greg turned to her.

"Well, unfortunately for you, Sophia," He said drily. "I am not in the mood to entertain visitors, including you."

Sophia gasped in shock.

"What? Greg! Did you just call me a visitor?"

Greg sighed again as he heard the shakiness in her voice. This usually happened when he had made her very sad. He turned to her and discovered that he was right. She was already sulking.

He reluctantly went over to her and placed his hands on her well shaped shoulders.

"Sophia, Sophia, I didn't mean it like that."

He said without really meaning it.

"I just meant that I wanted to rest, because I feel tired and dizzy."

Her eyes were on the floor and her mouth was formed in a sulky pout. He sighed again and placed a light kiss on her pouty mouth and the pretty, sulky face suddenly became sensual and seductive again.

"But you know I can always help you relax whenever you need to."

She purred seductively, caressing his chest and he rolled his eyes.

"I don't have time for this, Sophia." He said to her in annoyance as he pushed her wandering hands away. "I need a good nap and no disturbance."

"But Greg... "

"Sophia let me be."

He said sternly and started going upstairs then stopped halfway.

"But you can make yourself comfortable. And Amos, I do not want to be disturbed."

He disappeared into the upper hallway.

"Yes sor!" Amos exclaimed, saluted and then turned to Sophia who eyed him evilly. Then in anger, she left the house, disgraced. Amos followed suit in amusement.
