Laura dropped the book she was reading as a very harsh knock collided with her door. "Laura! open the door this minute!" Samantha exclaimed from the other side of the door. Laura slowly raised her head and looked at the clock on the wall, it was 12am in the morning. She sighed and wondered when the day would break. She was so weak because she hadn't eaten anything for almost three days. She weakly got up from the floor and climbed onto her bed, using the pillows as comfort. Tears filled her eyes for the umpteenth time. She was used to the maltreatment but it still hurt each time she was treated badly. Laura felt a light touch on her lower back and turned to see who it was. She found herself looking up at dark, piercing eyes in a strong, tanned and handsome face then stiffened when she recognised him. "Sorry I took long in getting the drink my dear, here you go." Greg smiled charmingly at her confused face as he gave her the drink, with a glint in his eyes that hypnotized her into doing what he wanted. "Uh, thanks...for the drink."
