I descended the staircase, freshly showered and clad in my limited edition suit, my mind buzzed with conflicting thoughts. Aurora's abrupt departure from the room hung in the air, a lingering question mark that begged for resolution.

Should I seek her out and demand an explanation for her sudden exit, or should I simply brush off the encounter and focus on my pack duties? Though it’s better that way so things won’t be awkward between us. She is keeping it strictly business. Which is good for both of us.
