Chapter 143

Author’s POV

Callum scratched the wall angrily with his claws feeling his insides boil in anger. He wished he got the chance to pounce on Ronan and ripped him to shreds. All through the discussion they had in the meeting room all he wanted to do was pull out his insides and watch him bleed to death.

The mistake he made was underestimating the young man. He should have killed Ronan a long time ago and made sure no traces of him were seen. But like a cursed person, his target keeps slipping out of his hands.

He started pacing the room back and forth while trying to mind-link Freya.

“That bitch!” He growled sinking his blood-stained claws into his palm.

His wolf whined on the pain which Callum ignored. He finally felt tired and eased himself into a chair. A light knock came from behind the door and one of his men walked in.

The young man bowed his head slightly. “You called for me, my lord.”

Callum flared his nose looking angry all over again. With a low

rumble at the back of his throat
