Chapter 144

Author’s POV

The creepy sound from behind the tall grasses and trees caused Ronan to take an abrupt pause. He had been hearing it since he went further into the woods. His wolf, Dion had also smelt a distant scent. Only to realize that there might be several of them lurking behind the shadows.

Ronan scratched the ground with his claws and while he mindlinked Timon. He took one step further and the sounds became clearer. They were closing in on him. He shut his eyes tightly to focus on their breathing to enable him to know the number of people that had him surrounded. But he couldn’t they seemed to be breathing the same way.

“There is no need to keep hiding, show your faces, you coward.” He growled baring his canines.
